The future is near
I love technology and I’m always amazed by new technology which is growing today too fast I may say. Here’s an example of what the very near future can look:

Oh boy, oh boy. This is the final candidate release before the BIG announcement of Mozilla’s final version, which will be around …. the mid of this year. And so far, the new Firefox is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay much better then the others browsers (of course, this is a personal opinion) and waaaaay much better that the most important competitor: Internet Explorer. And speaking of devil, IE 8 is scheduled to be released only at the end of the year. Eeat your heart out IE :).
In the mean time, if you wanna test the new Firefox 3 (beta), click below to download it.
It seems that Google is in love, because it’s full of hearts. Almost everywere you look, Google left us some small Valentine surprises. Of course, Gppgle has a lots of sites/domains, but still, Google.com, YouTube.com, Google maps and docs are all infected by the LOVE virus
Valentine Google Doodle:

YouTube in love:

The little guy in Google maps from Street view is standing on a little heart:

And the most in love one: google docs all covered in pink (aaaayks):

I can’t help myself and not writing some fun stuff to about the BIG DEAL and I promise, that I’ll try not to mention it again :). Anyway, since everybody’s talking about it, of course that fake logos and pictures appeared and even more: fark.com also organized a contest for the best photoshoped comic/picture. Here’s one of my favorites:

Funny thing: after the announcement of the giant Microsoft to acquire another giant (Yahoo!), the stock price of the Yahoo increased, which it’s kinda normal. But the stock price for Microsoft…..went down and looks like it’s still going. It seems like Microsoft investors are not very happy about this intention to buy Yahoo, maybe because Yahoo it’s now almost on the Investors blacklist. Interesting battle anyway with only one possible winner: Google :). Time will tell.
We all know that the internet is not safe anymore. But not everybody can afford to buy a decent Antivirus Program (like BitDefender for example, my favorite one) eve if practically, it’s a small price to pay for a safer and a cleaner computer. So for those persons, there are a lot of Anitvirus Programs, FREE to use for any non commercial, or personal use:
Avira Antivirus Free
It’s also the one I’m using it for my personal computer. It’s small, doesn’t “eat” so many resources and of course, it’s free. The only downside is that when the program updates it’s Virus database, a big advertising window appears, but it’s a small price to pay when it comes to protection. Here’s what it can do:
Click here to download Avira Antivirus.
Avast Antivirus
Another good and trustful antivirus, but for this one, after 60 days of use, you have to register (for free also) in order to use it. Avira Antiovirus comes with lots of features:
Click here to download Avast Antivirus but not before reading the terms of use.
AVG Antivirus
Not one of my favorites, but still a good antivirus with some nice features for the free version:
Click here to download AVG ANtivirus for FREE.
Dont forget that all these Free Antivirus Programs are only for Personal or non comercial use.
Have a safe Browsing :).
According to CNN, Microsoft announced today that it has made a proposal to Yahoo! to acquire all the shares of Yahoo! common stock for per share consideration of $31 representing a total equity value of approximately 44.6 billion dollars. Microsoft’s proposal would allow the Yahoo! shareholders to choose if they want to receive cash or a fixed number of shares of Microsoft common stock, with the total consideration payable to Yahoo! shareholders consisting of one-half cash and one-half Microsoft common stock.

That means that from now one, Internet Explorer and Windows Vista will be delivered with Yahoo Toolbar installed? Good thing that I’m a Firefox fan ![]()
